Boardwalk and Pier
When you go to Brighton Beach, you're right next to Coney Island.
This is a picture taken from the boardwalk looking towards Coney Island.
There is a big storm rolling in, so the bathers won't be on the beach for long.
The boardwalk stretches the full length from Brighton Beach to Coney Island.
You can enjoy all the activities like sidewalk flea markets, shopping, Astroland rides, and lots of places to eat.
Don't forget to get some famous Nathan's Coney Dogs.
We always see places to park there because there are so many empty lots. Be careful not to park where there is a sign that says No Standing.
We don't know what that means, but they will give you a parking ticket for 60 dollars according to the residents. The picture below is what it looks like if you stand under the Coney Island Pier.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS to Coney Island:
Belt Parkway, Exit
7 B, then turn south all the way to the beach on Ocean Parkway, at the light make
a right and follow it till you start seeing the rides, which is about 3 blocks
down.
